Sheldon Souray Domestic Dispute
TSN.CA is reporting Sheldon Souray was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife former Playboy model Angelica Bridges. Charges have not been pressed and Souray will be in the lineup tonight in Ottawa.

Surfed across your page and the Sheldon Souray bit caught my eye. I heard about it today and have to say I wasn’t too surprised. I saw Sheldon out on quite a few nights in downtown montreal this summer. I don’t know about hockey players’ marital status but I can tell you I would’ve never thought he had a wife by the way he was behaving. Just a little girls’ perspective on it

Yeah, I was reading the weekend paper and it was sating in the sports section that Souray and his wife are either getting divorced or are divorced. Then it said something like, Sheldon has said he doesn’t want to comment on the matter now. He will discuss it with the media at a later time when it isn’t so upsetting. It also said that it wasn’t a new thing.

About time someone else says something other than “it’s his fault” we don’t know what happened…only two of them were there. Follow the story if you’re interested…you’ll find out what happened…mainly because the media will make sure we know every little sorted detail. PS..Hello JB!

Hmmm…too bad for everyone involved (Sheldon, Angelica, new baby). I hope there was nothing inapprpriate going on. That would be a shame for many reasons. i’d also hate to think one of my favorite Habs is a spineless woman beater.

First of all, I can’t believe that Montreal fans in the City are booing Sheldon when he touches the puck. How brutal. Do any of you know what happened? NOPE. What is going on? Think about the circumstances, does noone think that the entire situation is alittle fishy? Put 2 and 2 together…
I agree that woman beaters ARE spineless…but in this situation there is no woman beater. -

I think that all the people that wrote on this site should be ashamed of themselves. For one it’s none of our business what is going on in Sheldon’s or his wife life. Two no one person is to blame for the failed marriage as they are both adults and there is probably more behind the story then anyone will ever know. I don’t think that when Sheldon was a young hockey player in Quesnel that it was his life goal to be known as a wife beater and as for his wife she probably doesn’t want to be known as the beated wife.

His personal life is no ones business, talk about his game all ya want. Put yourself in his shoes and see what you have to say then, it has been proven that the police report was B.S. and other reports that were made to the newspapers. Hollywood drama… some like to make there own when they arent getting paid to act in front of a camera or just want more money and a sob story out of a divorce! Lots of people do stupid stuff when they are hurt its between them leave it that way and get a hobby!

It’s unfortunate for Sheldon that his marriage has failed. However what is more unfortunate, is that he has to be judged by the fans, press, and anyone who thinks their opinion counts for something. He needs to be left alone to work his way through this - it must hurt - regardless of the circumstances leading up to the separation - it takes two people to stay married or not! Leave him alone and let him live his personal life outside of the press.

Its so easy to say things when you don’t really know what’s going on… gossip is the root of sooooo much evil… imagine this was you. Let’s just mind our own business and evaluate a hockey player for what they do on the ice and how much they try when given the opportunity. Sure he’s had a tough couple of years but so have many, many other players in the league. Management have given him room to grow and look at the results now. No one player in the league can really constantly be blamed or take credit for winning and losing games (unless your a really, really bad goalie, lol…).
I’d prefer to keep hoping for the best for the team and mind my business with the rest!
