Panther Slayers

    The Canadiens are in Miami tonight to take on the Florida Panthers. The Panthers are coming off an 8-2 thrashing of defending cup champs Tampa Bay Lightning. They have scored 25 goals in their last 5 games and are clearly chasing after the last remaining playoff spot.

    The Canadiens can seriously hurt the Panthers chances with a win tonight. The win would place Montreal 10 points ahead of Florida and with a game in hand. With 20 something games left in the season that might be far too much for the Panthers to overcome.

    If the Panthers manage to win they’ll close the gap to just 6 points. If this Canadiens team is bound for the playoffs they will surely realize the importance of this game and play accordingly.

    HE HE HE!the panthers got jokinen,loungo and other good players on the team but!montreal canadiens will take panthers appart and will make it to the play offs im postively sure the habs will destroy the hops off the panthers once and for all!!!YES GO HABS

    • PACTUM SERVA : Yep your right. I just hope this team shows up with some fight on saturday. Boston will be throwing their weight around again. The team needs to make a statement early in the game. Gut check time.
    • groundworking : Backhands are hard to read. I thought it was a very smart play--risky, because they're also hard to aim, but smart.
    • groundworking : I couldn't agree more about Price and O'Byrne. He's soft, which isn't something that one normally has to say about someone his size. Price is incredible, though. Very good. He's the only reason they've even been close this past few games.
