    Merry Christmas to all.

Hopefully Santa will send the Sabres and the Bruins on huge tailspins. Also could he please duck tape Kovalev’s mouth shut, give Latendresse a centre with any shape of talent(Plekanec or Lapierre), and the Russians a viable second line centre in the New Year!

Merry Christmas to everyone and let’s hope Santa brings a scoring touch for Sergei Samsonov, the ability to bite one’s lip when around referees to Alex Kovalev, a cure for constant injuries for Steve Begin, a scoring title for Saku Koivu, newfound defensive talent for Sheldon Souray, Guy Lafleur-like superstardom for Guillaume Latendresse and Maxim Lapierre, a Vezina, a Conn Smythe and a Hart trophy for Cristobal Huet, a 50 goal season for Michael Ryder, a 25 pp-10 sh goal season for Higgsy, a Selke trophy for both Mike Johnson and Radek Bonk, and Stanley Cup rings for everyone from trainers to management… and finally, some peace and warmth of soul for Bob Gainey and his whole family. We’ll save the New Year resolution wishes for the team next weekend. Well, I’m off to the in-laws in Ohio and taking my beauty wife to the Jackets-Bruins game on Boxing Day!!! Go Jackets!

There never really was any legitimate Ryder rumours to start with. The only rumours were those started by overzealous bloggers.
