Balanced Scoring - Seven (7) 50+ Point scorers. I just like this character the most! That’s the one of the key points of Habs’ success.
Few teams can play that good after losing some key players!

The Habs no question have been the most consistent team in the league. Is it enough
to win it all? We’ll just have to see. But win or lose, this team will have my full support.
In other news… Patrice Bergeron has been cleared to play in game 1. Yeah whatever!!

I keep hearing on 640am (Toronto) that he’s been cleared and will play on Thursday.
Doesn’t matter to me, we’ll beat them with or without him.

It does not look like Bergeron will play Thursday.
Not that it matters we will have our injured players back for Thursday with the exception of Koivu?

He might need practice in AHL to gain some confidence. LOL.

Well I like our chances of beating Boston.
I do not see Ottawa beating Pitts.
I am going to go with Philly over Wash, if Philly can shut down Ovey then I don’t see washington getting past them.
Here is the hard one, NYR/NJ I like NJ but I think NYR will win.

The Rangers are one team I am worried about and they are my least favorite team in the league. Every year—like every year..they try to buy the Stanley Cup, they have had more saviours than a drunk bible puncher down on
Hastings street in the East side of Vancouver.
Every years it’ s a new saviour, and fortunately the cup is not for sale,
so if they win once every 40 years that is more than enough.
Now hopefully the Canucks will dump their underachievers, Naslund ( terrible captain), the sisters, morrison and other re-treads.

WOW that didn’t really work out lol. I’m thikning Anaheim or Dallas for the West, enough of this Sanjose ****. Pittsburgh will barely get past the devils or rangers in the second round and montreal will be ready for them as Pittsburgh will be tired.

The NHL’s clubs were re-aligned into two conferences each consisting of three divisions. The number of teams qualifying for the Stanley Cup Playoffs remained unchanged at 16.
First-round playoff berths were awarded to the first-place team in each division as well as to the next five best teams based on regular-season point totals in each conference. The three division winners in each conference were seeded first through third for the playoffs and the next five best teams, in order of points, were seeded fourth through eighth. In each conference, the team seeded #1 played #8; #2 vs. #7; #3 vs. #6; and #4 vs. #5 in the quarterfinal round. Home-ice in the Conference Quarterfinals was granted to those teams seeded first through fourth in each conference.
In the Conference Semifinals and Conference Finals, teams were re-seeded according to the same criteria as the Conference Quarterfinals. Higher seeded teams gained home-ice advantage.
Home-ice advantage for the Stanley Cup Finals to be determined by points.
All series remain best-of-seven.

If I understand what I just posted from the net, it would seem that the seedings remain the same based on points except for Washington, pitts and Habs they remain with their seedings.
