- groundworking : Backhands are hard to read. I thought it was a very smart play--risky, because they're also hard to aim, but smart.
- groundworking : I couldn't agree more about Price and O'Byrne. He's soft, which isn't something that one normally has to say about someone his size. Price is incredible, though. Very good. He's the only reason they've even been close this past few games.
- Habs Blog : clean sweep of the sens this year, like beantown last year
- PACTUM SERVA : he is a clusterf@ck back there
- PACTUM SERVA : Obyrne needs to go
- PACTUM SERVA : tanguay came on his backhand from like the blueline and still scored lol
- PACTUM SERVA : Auld is brutal
- PACTUM SERVA : We are so lucky to have this kid play goal for us
- PACTUM SERVA : Anybody want to question price?
- PACTUM SERVA : lol
- groundworking : Neither Kostitsyn got a single shift in overtime
- groundworking : you're welcome
- groundworking : I thought it was a lucky goal, groundworking, thanks for asking
- groundworking : Thank you Markov. What do you think Groundworking?
- groundworking : Pierre keeps saying that they "fait les bonne choses". Like what? Shots? Goals? Hits? Faceoffs? What? They are absolutely terrible. A complete disgrace to the uniform--with FEW exceptions (Price, Koivu, Begin)
- groundworking : On the upside, at least the Habs are going around the league and breaking other teams out of their slumps
- groundworking : This is pathetic
- Dancan81 : effin habs are killing me!!!!!!!!!!!
- groundworking : They could have played this game without goalies
- groundworking : If you watch the closed circuit of the senate committee meetings during the commercial breaks, it makes it easier to stay awake between whistles
- PACTUM SERVA : Carbo for president
- PACTUM SERVA : thank god for price
- PACTUM SERVA : this game should have been 7-1
- PACTUM SERVA : defense was brutal....giving up 50 shots???????
- Habs Blog : Rough tonight
- PACTUM SERVA : obyrne,brisbois are a joke
- PACTUM SERVA : getting to fancy
- PACTUM SERVA : F@CK
- PACTUM SERVA : NEED TO SHOOT MORE ON THE PP
- 4mGhost : Nevermind. Habs back to usual tricks.
- 4mGhost : work ethic still a bit suspect
- 4mGhost : best hab tempo in 6+ games easy
- 4mGhost : WOW! Samsonov still totally blows goats.
- 4mGhost : Price is a freaking stone wall so far.
- cout_NY : Looks like cube just had a scare.. «link»

Living in Calgary I would love nothing more than a rematch of 1989. Flames vs Habs. The Flames are the only team to win the Cup in Mtl. During the run in 04 this city came alive, it was awesome. Flames are and will always be my second team. Lets hope Superfans prediction comes to fruitation. Go Habs!

Montreal has the team. If Carey Price is good, no one has nothing to worry about. Montreal will win the stanley cup If carey Price is good. I’m not really worried with Price because he’s been playing under 21,000 fans, and hes used to lots of pressure.
April 8, 2008 am30 3:26 pm
Hey, Superfan, ur prediction is the same as my friens, tom’s. Except that he had Penguins over Rangers.
April 8, 2008 am30 6:27 pm
Habs in 5 (I was leaning toward a sweep. I really was.)
Pens in 7 (No way they’ll dispose of the Sens in 4 or 5.)
Caps in 6 (Philly has no defense at all.)
Rangers in 6 (Brodeur won’t save the Devils this time around.)
Wings in 6 (Underestimated.)
Sharks in 6 (Too consistently good a team for inconsistent Calgary.)
Avs in 7 (Minnesota… pfft. Trap this!)
Ducks in 6 (I despise Anaheim, but they’ll beat the Stars.)
April 8, 2008 am30 7:49 pm
Hab in 5 against Bruins
Pens in 4 against senators
NYR in 7 against NJ
Flyers in 7 against Caps - I am picking an upset here, flyers have a good powerplay and if they get the goaltending I think the caps may wilt in a long series.
Detroit in 5 against Preds
Sharks in 6 against Flames ( would like to see Flames win but I do not think they have enough to be the sharks.
Avs in 7 against Minnesota
Dallas in 7 over Ducks
I see Detroit coming out of this conference against our habs. Original six match up Habs did not look very good against the wings this year but I think the wings are going to find a different team to play against come the finals.
April 8, 2008 am30 11:21 pm
Hey Iceman, if I understand the seeding process of the playoff, the habs can only play the capitals if the are in the conference final.
April 9, 2008 am30 2:38 am
EAST:
Habs in 5(we’ll lose game 4 in Beantown)
Pens in 5
Caps in 6
Rangers in 7
WEST:
Wings in 7
Sharks in 6
Avs in 6
Stars in 7
Habs then face NYR & win in 7(Lots of OT)
Caps will beat Pens in 7(OT winner by none other than OV8)
Avs beat Wings in 6
Sharks beat Stars in 5
Habs play Caps and win in 6(More OT wins for Price)
Avs play Sharks and win in 7
Final Matchup: Colorado vs Montreal aka Theodore vs Price aka Sakic vs Saku
Montreal wins in 5 @ the Bell Centre!!! GO HABS GO!

April 9, 2008 am30 3:09 pm
If Saku Koivu gets back for game 2, they are sweeping the series. I just hope the habs aren’t thinking that it’s going to be too easy. The Bruins are pissed and game 1 really matters for the habs.
April 9, 2008 am30 4:56 pm
I would be very surprised if Koivu played until at least game 5, especially if the habs are winning. Komisarek and Ryder will play.
April 9, 2008 am30 9:11 pm
Ottawa is brutal. Too bad you can make the playoffs exclusively based on your team’s play in the first 2 months of the regular season. They are absolutely not a playoff quality hockey team. Anyone catch Alfredson eating French fries with his head turned while his teammate was bleeding out on the ice?
April 10, 2008 am30 7:36 am
She starts tonite Baby. The Road to Lord Stanley’s Cup.
Lets go boys. Put the pedal to the middle and not look back…….
GO HABS GO………
April 10, 2008 am30 10:41 am
The bear trap has been set, the BRUIN will be captured in 4 games and then sent to the local minni putt, lol.
April 10, 2008 am30 11:44 am
The Evgeni Malkin Show strikes again. Crosby did manage to get in a nice crosscheck on Redden, however, upon being thrown to the ice by Neil and not Redden. And my favourite part of that play was how Redden simply stood up to Crosby’s slapping attempts without making any kind of attempt of his own to throw a real punch at the little girl, yet Whitney comes in to fight Redden and not Neil, who threw Crosby to the ice and hurt his feelings… perhaps even broke one of his nails.
Anyway, I thought that Ottawa would bring a better effort in the playoffs. I was obviously wrong. What a disgrace.
Colorado-Minnesota was easily the most entertaining game last night. That’s playoff hockey! Forsberg looks like Forsberg so far.
Go Habs! Get that critical game 1 win and re-instill doubts in the Bruins’ minds.
April 10, 2008 am30 11:49 am
This has been the longest 4 days of my life.
Bring on Da Big Bad Goonie Bruins. The Habs are afraid of no team. We will fight til the End.
We are the Champions. We are the Champions, No room for losers, cause we are the Champions, Of The World……..
“WHAT YA GOIN TO DO WHEN THE BADASS HABS RUN WILD ON YOU”!!!!!
April 10, 2008 am30 12:23 pm
just heard that Brisecrap is playing instead of Obyrne. UNBELIEVABLE!
bruins will be hitting and Carbo puts in his smallest and SOFTEST player!
obviously he has learnest NOTHING ABOUT TURNOVERS !
April 10, 2008 am30 12:29 pm
Go Habs Go!
Habs in 5
Look after Chara and the series is done.
Bring on the Flyers next round.
April 10, 2008 am30 12:37 pm
I agree. Not a good move by Carbo. Breezer is not tuff enuff for the Bruins.
Bad Move already and the Series is not even started yet. Next comes the line jugling if they get down a goal or two.
Oh Boy it is going to be a Roller Coaster ride from now on. Hold on to your hats Boys & Girls…
April 10, 2008 am30 3:15 pm
WOW…I can’t believe the number of Habs fans looking at beyond the first round with rose colored glasses. Habs over the Flames/Habs over the Sharks…etc
Are u kidding me…Take away the 16 points away from the Habs againts the Bruins in the regular season and they are simply ordinary…in fact the Bruins have a better record againts the rest of the league ( Check the fatcs…they don’t lie! )
I know…I know…Habs fans love to live in the past…it’s 86 all over again!
Truth be told, the Habs will destroy the Bruins. However, they will not get past the Flyers.
So wake up from your slumber my Habs fans…stop dreaming…and concentrate on the 2007/08 version and not the 1986 version of the Habs.
Tony ( an intelligent hockey and bruins fan )
April 10, 2008 am30 3:25 pm
Hey Tony, you and the Bruins are going golfing in 4or 5 games and can KISS MY HAB ARSE !!!!!
April 10, 2008 am30 4:07 pm
Yo Xtrahabsfan…..class act again….
We may very well be golfing in 4 or 5 games….but will make certain we book your Habs a tee time in about two weeks after the Pens or Rangers make Price look like the second comming of Red-Light.
BTW…better wipe your “arse” before you ask anybody to kiss it.
Tony ( an intelligent hockey and bruins fan )
April 10, 2008 am30 6:44 pm
eh tony stfu u piece of S***t get the fu** out of here
April 10, 2008 am30 11:07 pm
Tony:
Pointing out your own intelligence is a self-defeating exercise.
That being said, it must be difficult for you, being so emotionally attached to a hopeless franchise. But don’t despair because there is help available, Tony. In fact, you might just find a lot more in the way of people that you can relate to and share your stories of disappointment with here: http://chat.mapleleafs.com/.
After all, your story is becoming more and more like theirs with each passing year.
April 11, 2008 am30 12:55 pm
Hey Tony, we crushed your piuny little bruins arse.

April 11, 2008 am30 4:26 pm
Just heard that Carolina is willing to hear offers for Eric Cole after the season, hmmm, seems to me that may be exactly what we need, a replacement for Ryder. Said to be asking for a defenseman and center “prospect”. Now if we can do something creative like that, and add a center this summer, lmao, from classically good to extraordinarily dominant.
April 11, 2008 am30 7:52 pm
MONTREAL IS GOING TO KICK BOSTONS *** IN THE FIRST ROUND!!!
April 11, 2008 am30 11:37 pm
Fans of a fairness in sports, we may have a crisis on our hands as fans of Canadian teams. These refs have already cost two Canadian teams to lose hard fought games, and there seems to ne no end in sight. Please get in touch with your teams reps about this.
April 13, 2008 am30 3:35 pm
in the stanley cup finals it will be montreal and san jose
April 14, 2008 am30 3:51 pm
I think it is going to be
Habs in 6
Flyers in 7
Pens in 6
Rangers in 6
Detroit in 5
Flames in 7
Avs in 6
Stars in 5
Then Habs will beat the Philly in 6
Rangers will beat Pens in 7
Flames will beat Detroit in 6
Stars will kill Avs in 5
Habs beat Rangers in 7
Flames in 6
Montreal and Flames for the cup, keep er all Canadian.
April 14, 2008 am30 4:01 pm
And i wasn’t going to mention the Brisbois thing, but since i read about it, what is up with that, i mean, he is not playing badly, but it is only going to take 1 or 2 mistakes to loose the series and with him on the ice it is bound to happen.
We have to find a way to stop Lucic, Savard and Sturm. It will make the series even easier to win.
My 2 cents, anyone want change??
April 22, 2008 am30 12:28 am
this site is so funny. your dreaming if you think the habs are going to win the eastern conference. keep dreaming!
April 23, 2008 am30 6:50 am
