  • Game 53: Habs/Panthers

Another big game tonight as the Habs host the Panthers on the heels of their shootout victory versus the Capitals last evening. Frankly, if the Canadiens can play the way they did for the final 50 minutes of last night’s contest they should be fine.

Alex Auld starts. Here’s hoping he can step in and give the Habs a good start, and more importantly a win with Carey in a baseball cap.

    Go Habs Go!!!

  • Game 52: Habs/Caps

It is a late start of 7:40 tonight as the Caps are honoring Dino Cicarelli tonight. It will be interesting to see how the players on both teams react to the recent layoff. The Capitals have been through similar turmoil as the Habs this season, playing well for stretches, and then disappearing for stretches.

The Habs are still in a dog fight for playoff position and though they cannot catch the Caps with a victory, they can put some space between themselves and the teams that are nipping at their heels. If they can streak off a few consecutive wins, the race for the division lead would be on once more.

    Go Habs Go!!
