  • Game 24: Habs/Penguins

Late breaker today for the Habs vs Pens game. I don’t have much time but I will say that though I’m glad that Sidney Crosby is back, I fear the rampage he’s on right now. Here is hoping that the Habs can channel the game of the team that beat the Rangers last weekend and not that of the Friday afternoon game against the Flyers. Go Habs Go!!!!

  • Game 23: Habs/Flyers

The Montreal Canadiens have many reasons to be thankful following their 4-3 shootout victory over the Carolina Hurricanes. They should give thanks that Brian Gionta was able to sneak a goal by Cam Ward to ensure the Habs would end up with 2 points. They should be very thankfull that Carey Price who had been 0-4 in shootout attempts thus far this season was able to make 3 Canes skaters miss. They should be thankful that Lars Eller was able to make the most of his ice time before Scott Gomez left the game with an injury to keep them in a 2-1 hockey game. Maybe they should be thankful that Gomez was hurt? That is just mean.

You know what I’m NOT thankful for? American Thanksgiving pushing the Montreal Canadiens into a 3pm start this afternoon.

Although given how few people are in the office today, I might just be able to sneak onto my NHL Gamcentre account and watch anyway. I guess I’m thankful for the country club environment that I seem to work in these days.

Puck drops at 3pm est. Go Habs Go!!
