Pre-season Tease
The Canadiens suffered a 5-2 loss at the hands of the Boston Bruins last night in Moncton, New Brunswick. Another meaningless game, just like the one before where the habs were the victors. Training camp is coming to a close and I am very much welcoming that.
Pre-season hockey has stirred the pot and the excitement level has risen to about as far as it can go.
I don’t think I speak alone when I say I’ve had enough of watching career minor leaguers trying out for NHL teams and am ready for the real season to begin.Perhaps it’s due to the fact The Canadiens will be fielding the most competitive team they have had in awhile. We wait with much anticipation for October 5th.
The final cuts will come shortly, and Guillaume Latendresse should be among them. Will he?

Jeremy Roenick suffers pre-season Concussion
The L.A Kings were dealt a blow when Jeremy Roenick suffered another concussion in a pre-season game vs the Phoenix Coyotes.
Jeremy Roenick is very vocal player, maybe the loudest mouth in the NHL. Some people love him some people hate him.
Roenick has now stated how the game “isn’t as good as it once was” and that “There is no respect for people in this league”. Is he right or is he just being a baby who can dish out whatever he feels like saying or doing (the water bottle throwing incident comes to mind) but not take it?
Maybe he has a point being it was a pre-season game, but this is hockey after all is it not? If he wants to be the most recognized and known face in the game he should be aware of it at all times. Pre-season included.
