All Eyes on Gainey

  1. We need to see a deal done in the next day.

IMO standing pat is not an option as the other top teams are going to be looking to strenghten their rosters for the playoff run.

Yep same old same old , some people just love bad news !!

  3. News flash ……Hossa for KOvalev…………….kidding,lol

  4. I tend to agree with CM Niether Huet nor Price have looked sharp in the last few games. But if we are going to play Price we have to give him a little more protection as well. I have noticed one thing that he seems to need work on and that is he is not prepared for a shot from any angle or at the odd times. Carbo has to get everyone coming back and not let the Nash’s open for that cross ice shot he made the other night. Price was not ready for it but the defence on that side was not ready for the pass or shot either. Lets tighten up a little on defense and counter punch a little until we get back to our game and our goalies get their confidence back. One plus for Price he handles the puck behind the net 10 times better than Huet and someone needs to tell Kiovu to stop taking stupid stick penalties in the offensive zone. He took two or three at very bad times in the game Saturday night and it seemed at the time we were starting to get some momentum when they happened. Kiovu should not be amoung our leaders penalty minutes.

The Montreal Canadiens have traded goaltender Cristobal Huet to the Washington Capitals in exchange for a 2nd round pick in 2008. Details to follow.

  6. Gainey had a brilliant career as a player……But as far as a GM…..He has made some stupid moves…..Shame on you Gainey…shame on you

  7. Bob is way ahead of schedule. You weren’t going to win with Huet. Let’s see what we have.Free agents this summer if we do well in playoffs. Another Sam Pollack
