Crosby Show

  • Tonight should be a good one. The league’s poster boy and leading scorer in town to take on the Habs.

Crosby is on fire and all eyes will be on him to continue his point explosion tonight. 10 points in the last 2 games put him ahead of Jaromir Jagr as the league’s leading scorer.

The PBJ line should see a lot of ice and have their hands full containing Crosby and
Evgeni Malkin who makes his first ever visit to Montreal.

There’s no denying the Pens are improving and have a lethal offense but there are still several defensive concerns that exist.

Chris Higgins is finally back tonight and it’ll be interesting to see if he can step back in and find his game quickly.

If stats mean anything to you, Cristobal Huet didn’t face the Penguins last season, but is 2-0-0 with an 0.58 goals-against average and one shutout in his career against them. Both wins came in the 2003 calendar year, when he was with Los Angeles.

    Should be a good one.

  1. Stevejur, the only one of Tampa’s big four without a no-trade clause is Vinny(Dan Boyle has one and he won’t want to leave Tampa, who wouldn’t want to live in Florida?) and Vinny’s their best player so don’t expect anything out of Tampa.
