The Canadiens are in Phoenix tonight, game 2 of their 4 game visit out west.
On paper the next two games should be the easiest chances to win, before finishing up the road trip in Anaheim. The Habs definitely need to secure these points to stay in the hunt for 1st in their Division and Conference.
Carey Price gets the call again after a less than strong performance in San Jose. Price is the #1 now and will only learn from being thrown right back into the mix. Sending him right back is probably the right move to build his Confidence.
However, when will Halak get his feet wet? Starting him on the road, against the worst team in the league would be the absolute least pressure situation for his 1st start. Win or lose tonight, Halak should start in Los Angeles.
The Coyotes are still in the Western playoff hunt and will come out hungry. The stats however favor Montreal – the Coyotes will be trying for their first win against Montreal in nearly a decade. The last time the Coyotes beat the Habs was Dec. 9, 1998.

It is not the first tim that a weaker team has beat the Habs. The D-Men better show up tonight unlike last game where they were a sleep.
Price will prove why he is the #1 Man in Net. He will win 3-4 in a row now.
I have noticed a pattern with price. He will have 3 strong games in a row and the fourth he plays bad.
Win 3 loose one. I could live with that.
That works out to 62 wins & 20 losses.
Sounds Damn good to me.
March 6, 2008 at 4:26 pm
Price is still the same Price.
He is not a nervous and “sweating” guy in either a relaxing game or a playoff game. Pressure free is the most important factor BG having chosen him as Hab’s #1. But the shadow of the sunshine is that sometimes he is just a little bit inactive, looking like not warming up enough yet, not active yet ready for a game…
In Price we trust!
My 2 cents.

CHIZE:chi means ruler or una,Ze means marsh, the point is the depression of the elbow just before the bicep begins. The point is located with the elbow slightly flexed.Located in the origin of the brachioradialis muscle.Striking this point can cause great damage to the entire system. It can cause a knock out when struck with a back fist or using a “dead arm”..(throwing the arm without flexation)…a strong strike can cause brain damage or render the opponent helpless without POWER FROM THE LUNGS!!! The lungs are part of “THE POWER SYSTEM OF THE BODY’
STAY IN SHAPE AND STAY ON TOP:HEALTH IS THE MAIN CONCERN FOR THIS TEAM RIGHT NOW!
March 6, 2008 at 6:40 pm
Did you go for your jog today boyz??
March 6, 2008 at 6:48 pm
I prefer this team to be in the position of the hunter instead of being the hunted..wasting precious energy and taking foolish chances, risking the health and depth of the team for inept circumstances that have no bearing of the post season whatsoever,Gainey is not worried, Carbo is not worried..and i could care less if we lose tonight…i know how they think..unselfishly!
I do respect your opinions and take them seriously also.I am not here to say you are not right..respect me and ill respect you.
PEACE

okay Daniel-san, I’m predicting the habs win big tonight, 5-1, powerplay is overdue, phoenix has a worse home record then us, plus they had to bust it to beat Dallas last night.
March 6, 2008 at 9:35 pm
Finally..and thank you for the prediction, I hope you are correct im going to check the tale of the tape and the las Vegas odds..ill be back..

Minnesota Wild Minnesota
37-24-5 SU
24-26 O/U The Wild kept pretty quiet during the trade deadline, picking up just Chris Simon from the Islanders. Simon will give Minnesota some much needed toughness, that hasn’t been there all season long. However, you have to think that it isn’t enough to keep pace in the Central Division.
March 6, 2008 at 9:55 pm
How are they going to do?
I’m so grateful that the Habs are doing well. However, I’m still waiting for the other shoe to fall. The playoff run could be anyones in the Eastern conference, but again, will the Habs make the playoffs?!? I hate it that I’m still worried and a such a doubter…
So far, so great. I so want them to win. Win tonight, win against the Ducks. Get into the playoffs and do some damage…
Go HABS go!!!
March 6, 2008 at 9:57 pm
They are my favorite second team because my kid plays hockey down there.FYI
March 6, 2008 at 9:59 pm
They’ll make the playoffs,,,but who will play spoiler and do the Habs a favor? That is the question my friend..we will need help down the stretch..from someone T.O perhaps?
March 6, 2008 at 10:05 pm
I don’t know who’s going to win but it will be wild what happens behind the bench with Carbo and Gretzsky .
March 6, 2008 at 10:11 pm

March 6, 2008 at 10:57 pm
Someone mentioned Mathieu Biron…nice choice..but a big forward wouldn’t hurt either eh..ERIC MANLOW..just for a couple games near the end of the season..for a scrap or two…sounds good!
March 6, 2008 at 10:57 pm
Biron from the bulldogs to start with
March 6, 2008 at 10:58 pm

March 6, 2008 at 11:06 pm
I thought the game was on…why pre-empt it with “junior hockey”…lol
March 6, 2008 at 11:22 pm
I don’t understand the new rules ,if you barely hook a guy you get the box,but if you crash the net and take out the goalie, noproblamo! It’s bullshit!
March 6, 2008 at 11:22 pm
They must have a really “BIG” parking lot..with all those motor homes there from all the “WINTER GEESE” going south to Arizona for the winter…or do they just “plug in” and stay a week or two…they sell “depends’ on the concourse…and they have “checkers tournaments” in the lobby for the blind while they listen to the game…must smell like urine real bad there…lol…just kidding…my grandma is down there for holidayz…miss her money..i mean badly!..lol
March 6, 2008 at 11:25 pm
And by the sounds of the fans..they must have a “decible” law… cant yell over 30!,,or your outta there!…lol
March 6, 2008 at 11:25 pm

March 6, 2008 at 11:28 pm
I should say when you break the rules and go after the Q.B.
March 6, 2008 at 11:32 pm
Yes xtra..i know what you mean..we need the “big guy” in Anaheim game..BADLY!
March 6, 2008 at 11:36 pm
I’d allso like Price to review Ron HEXTAL AND Billy Smith clips ,as to show him how to protect himself.
March 6, 2008 at 11:44 pm
Lapierre is killing us! 8 minutes in penalties
March 6, 2008 at 11:53 pm

March 7, 2008 at 12:02 am
Yes Xtra..we need that ******* pretty quick..this wouldn’t be happening right now..dirty slash!…very dirty…we need Plakanec..hes our best player of late..it only takes a couple of injuries and we are screwed!
March 7, 2008 at 12:05 am
There should have been a fight at least guyz!..what a crock..and no call..well..this is what Gainey wants..this is what he gets…lets wait for that phone call to the BULLDOGS…he has too do something about the “BEEF FACTOR”
