Game 16: Habs/Rangers

  • Montreal is in New York City tonight facing the Blue Shirts in what should be a very interesting match up for a team that suddenly finds itself riding a 4 game winning streak. The Rangers had a rough start to the season, but are 7-2-1 over their last 10 games. This team is good and tonight should be an opportunity for the Habs to really measure themselves up against an incredible lineup. Montreal was fantastic against Eric Staal, Alex Semin, and Jiri Tlusty. They’ve been good to start the season, but they aren’t Richards, Gaborik, and Nash.

Cam Ward has been good as well. but he isn’t Henrik Lundqvist. There is no point to mentioning Carolina’s defense. New York is much better.

Brendan Gallagher is still out with a concussion, so Ryan White will continue to center the 4th line – which he did very well last night.

    A big Tuesday night game!

    Go Habs Go!!!
