Terrible, if not unexpected news today for Habs fans: Josh Gorges is done for the season needing surgery to repair an injury that had bothered him for much of the early season. To say that Gorges had become critical to the Candiens defensive play in the absence of Andrei Markov over the course of the past two seasons would be an understatement. He’s already missed in the lineup – that now features a mix of old and slow, and inexperienced defensemen.
Oh yeah, just what we need: The Penguins.
Lets just hope the Habs learned to score over the past few days.
Go Habs Go!!
