Game 48: Habs/Sens

  • The Canadiens visit the struggling Ottawa Senators who have just one win in their last 12 games. Still, the Senators and Canadiens have a rivalry that you know will help the Senators get ‘up’ tonight. Montreal is vulnerable thanks to injuries sustained in the 2-1 overtime loss to the Sabres a few nights ago. If the young guys called up (Enqvist and White) can play some inspired hockey (and more importantly – eat some minutes) then Montreal should be fine over the anticipated month-long stretch of hockey that Michael Cammalleri will miss. Max Pacioretti made the trip with the team to Ottawa, and is said to be playing tonight – although you have to wonder how effective he can be after a devastating blast he took to his ribs courtesy of James Wisniewski.

Two games in two nights lie ahead of the Habs with the return of Saku Saturday night. It should be fun to have the Captain back home.

    Go Habs Go!!
