I haven’t abandoned my faith. I just feel that I wasn’t watching a potential Stamley Cup champion on the ice tonight. I think that most would agree. They’ll have to be a lot better to achieve that goal.

Yeah, I watched that game too. And I think that that’s what set alarm bells off in my head tonight. I strongly feel that the Habs are a much better team than they show at times, and it’s those times when they fall short that might end up costing them. I’m kind of pissed that they seemed to take the win for granted in the third period tonight.

And Price is amazing. He’s the reason I didn’t have a full blown panic attack after Boston tied it up tonight. He simply doesn’t get rattled.

I think the habs have been reading too many newspapers or listening to the media, telling them how great a team they are. It has gone to their heads. They seem to think that all they have to do, is just step on the ice, and they will win. Hockey is about playing for 60 minutes, skating, checking, hitting, and a good PP. When the habs don’t skate, they’re very average, and the worst team in the league will beat them. So the habs played down to Boston’s level tonight, and luckily found a way to pull out a win. If the habs play their game and skate, then there’s no way the bruins can beat them.
JUST SKATE GUYS AND PLAY YOUR GAME! forget about what the bruins are doing, the habs just need to concentrate on what the habs need to do to win!

Oh BTW, I can’t stand Cherry. what a bruins homer! Is CBC the canadian Boston corporation? They seem to want the bruins to win. So I guess if the leafs aren’t playing, anyone who plays the habs, they want to win. Why do they hate the habs so much? maybe because of 24 stanley cups! Cherry needs to get a life and stop pissing off hab fans.

the game tomorrow night will be alot tougher.not just because it’s in boston, but because the bruins can’t afford to go down 3-0 . If that happens, the series is over. So the bruins will be fighting for their lives, hitting like crazy, and if the habs don’t play better, sharper, come with their A game, we’lll lose. It’s going to take (repetition) a 60 minute effort, and the habs can’t take off a period or 2. Which habs team will show up? Let’s hope it’s the same team we saw on Thursday.

If Montreal wins tomorrow, we may see a goal change for game 4 if it goes 3-0

I also think we see a couple of changes to the lineup for tomorrow’s game. I would like to see Obyrne and maybe even the kid Stewart. I think we are going to need some toughness in our lineup for Sunday’s game.

I E-Mailed CBC and gave them a piece of my mind last night.

It was said that CBC recieved Death threats against Cherry last night. I don’t know if this Rumor is Ligit or not. But it does not surprise me though …

That was a poorly reffed game yesterday. The Candadiens benefitted during the latter part of the game but when minor taps are considered penalties that may decide the outcome as momentum changes occur, there should be a call from the bigwigs to wake up and let the players play….Through the regular season games cross-checking, interference, hooking etc are let go and the a minor brush off, incidental hold, etc etc… come on that’s part of hockey! to a certain degree. Absolutely when things get out of hand call them then!!!

Take the win just the same. The Habs left the hitting game in the dressing room and basically too many errors throughout the game. Lucky to get the win. Especially for Price’s role he stole the game! Which is what a good goalie is supposed to do.

On to tonight’s game. Almost gave Tony fodder material. Go Habs Go!

The Kovalev winner was beautiful (skill part winning here) , I thought that Thomas looked average ( and that’s weak in NHL terms ). Really wish Julien would start the Rask era tonight in Boston.

The officiating was truly horrible on both sides. The Reich penalty was a joke…but the one on Kovalev was equally weak.

The Bruins came back because the Habs let them…the speed game was missing in the 3rd for the Habs.

Like I’ve said on numberous occations (for those of you that read my blog)…speed and skill will win the series for the Habs.

Just a note on Grapes….he can kiss my a@#$@…cost us the ’79 Cup, and I will never forgive that “Leafs” fan for that!

Well, Senet 1, I hope that you’re right in that last night was a bit of a wake-up call for the Habs. The good thing is that we don’t have very long to wait and see if it was. I hope that they come out like they did in Game 1, crushing any hopes that might remain in that Boston locker room. Even though they’re down 2-0, the Bruins can and will take a lot of positives away from last night’s game. The Habs need to prove that their 2-0 series lead wasn’t an accident, and more importantly, they need to implement a 60-minute effort that will bring them continuous success throughout the playoffs.

Did anyone see Ward’s ridiculous interview on TSN prior to last night’s game? He was informed that the Habs’ plan was to wear Chara down, to which he replied (paraphrased) ‘Good for them, and good luck! He’s 260 pounds. They can’t wear him down. But good luck to them in trying.’ The ridiculous part was the manner in which he said this – like a bratty child. Ah, yes, the reaction of a frustrated athlete.

No, I’m just one of those rare sports fans that actually knows when my team is overmatched, and refrain from smack. I’ve spent to many nights at the old Garden watching the bruins employ the same old style…It’s time for change, and Sinden still has his imprint on this team.

Hey,Tony from NB. I think all of us habs fans would agree that we have the better team. On the other hand, I have learned over the years that never say never. I note that you are a sox’s fan good for you, but you know what Yogi always said. I is never over until it is over. I can remember back in 1971, we faced the Bruins with Orr, Esposito, Hodge, Cashman and Boston had won the cup the year before. Basically we didn’t have a chance. But with a hot goaltender and a good game plan we won that series. Personally, I do not see much difference between any of the eight teams in our conference if one team gets the breaks anything can happen. So as I habs fan I would never concede that my team could not win any series.

I heard a rumour that Bergeron could be playing tonight. Would certainly give the bruins a lift, but if the habs skate like game 1, habs will prevail.
