Rebound

  • The Canadiens are coming off a lopsided loss against Ottawa followed by a night which saw two of their players arrested and put in jail overnight.

Time to forget all that completely and get two wins in Florida.

Will they be able to put it aside and get back on track? Continue chasing Ottawa for first while maintaining themselves in the middle of the playoff pack?

Thats why he is in the NHL because he cant play hockey .. makes perfect sence , I am sure you can skate, pass and check better then he can , but why are you not in the NHL?

  2. What was that? Why didnt Higgins follow Koivu on the breakaway.

If he did he wouldve had an easy rebound goal.

Trade the bum!!! Well maybe not , but we need a spark !!

  4. There ya go. Way to make it up Higgins.

    What a crappy goal. lol

    We need more of them.

Can we have a few truck loads of that crap please?

  6. Great.
Typical Koivu getting a stupid penalty near the end of the game.

You know Carbo should bench Koivu and send him a message that his stupid hooking penalties hurts the team.

  7. Kovy’s team. Definitely.

Ok justice you can go back to your laffs site now

  11. I guess all things equal…things balance out during the season…I believe they lost a similar type of game at some point. So take the two points and move on. Still waiting to hear of a trade…just cringing to hear that no-names have been rec’d and prospects given w/o unloading some more dead wood.

Note: why do we have Smolinski on the team…or better yet why is he on the power play…are the others that pathetic to have to resort to this. Again, why is he on the team? There has to be a logical reasoning…just can’t put my finger on it. Anyone?

  12. Carey Price had a really good game, I would put him in against Philly on saturday If I was Gainey.

  14. how come you don’t chat with the members?

  15. At this point lets just take the 2 pts and move on.lol The game wasn’t very entertaining….by that I mean the way Kovy and the boys were entertaining us a couple of weeks ago. They’re not quite clicking the way they were, the nice setups, everything going in….that sort of thing……and Kovy maybe holding on to the puck a little longer than he should without passing it off….but what the hell, lol…..we got the 2 pts and these guys should get the spark back…even the best of lines have their bad stints. We take what we can get now…..I just REALLY don’t wanna see again what happened last year.
Tied with the Pens again, 4 pts behind the Sens….and although I don’t think were gonna catch the Sens, it would be nice to at least hover around the positioning they have now….I just wanna see a playoiff appearance and play the best we can. Home and home with Philly next, lets get up for it and get the flame burning again.
2 points for Koivu….but before we go making his Prime Minister, lets see if he can keep it up….history says “no”, but lets wait for the proof. Remember one thing, this was an injury-ridden, bottom-of-the-batch team we just barely got by with the help of a PP in OT….but as I first said…lets take it, and move on, get our groove back and hopefully Gainey win lend a hand by adding some help. GO HABS GO !!!

  16. lol I usually wait for someone to respond to my comments.

  17. Hey guys tell me what u think about this one. I doubt Columbus will do it but I sure would If Iwas Bob Gainey.
Ryder,1st round pick and Halak for Rick Nash.lol I wish. I know that theres a 50% chance that Tanguay might be coming here, but he’s not a superstar that gets a 100pts and hes 5. somehing mill.

They don’t need Halak, and Ryder will be put into a offensive checking line role (guessing for anyone who may be interested in him)…

Not saying its u Stuo11, but people are just dreaming up the best player we would want, and something crappy to send back…

PS – Nash IS their franchise right now, and isn’t going anywhere…

  19. I agree, but I think Alex Tnguay is a high possibility. Many people say koivu for Marleau, but why? Koivu is doing bad but not as bad as Marleau.

  20. Nash for Ryder ..lol… dial me in for what ever your smoking, cause it’s high time’s booty!

  21. wow dude calm your self. It’s just a dream. lol. You have to Admitt It would be nice though.

I agree that they won’t get him, I’m not that Stupid.
