montreal canadiens hockey – habs blog RSS

  • For the first time this season the Canadiens showed an ugly side to their game allowing 6 goals in Saturday’s loss to the Ducks.

The Habs came out flat after a long lay off and found themselves down early. Is Jaroslav Halak alone to take the blame or were the Habs as a team weak defensively? Was Chris Higgins as sharp as he normally is? Was Andrei Markov? Why can’t the Canadiens seem to beat the strong Western Conference teams?

The good news is the Habs are healthy. AK46 will soon make his return to the lineup. The not so good news is the Hurricanes happen to be the next opponent. The Canes are notorious Hab killers and play especially well in Montreal.

Habs will stop Canes early in the first and I think Carey Price will play a perfect game! The only thing that I still don’t know is about RBA. Is Rod Brind’amour will play the spoilsport once again! Cause Cole was one part of the habs problem last year, but what about the Face-off winner RBA who can score a goal with less than 3 second in the game?Hope Lapierre will charge him hard enough to calm down the gamebreaker.

our defence keeps giving up the puck, our PP is totally disorganized, and just not in sync. The habs just don’t look like the great team of last year. I hope we don’t continue to play this way, or else no playoffs!

That’s just what we should be…faithful and actually have faith in the team–not bash them and their game the moment they have an off-night. They are doing great!!!!!!!! *6-1-1*
