Agreed! Koivu is overated. If hes gonna be the leader, he has to be there every game. Not Injured every other game. I would trade koivu in a heartbeat for selane, but now dumb manager would trade selane for a crap load of shit like koivu. And im tird of people comparing koivu and sundin, saying koivu is better.Pfft. sundin is a legend no matter waht you say. He is going to the hall of fame, and koivu isnt lets face it. I know some habs fans are gonna bash me, but what im saying is real. You cant ignore the truth no matter how many times you try to cover it up.

Koivu sucks? are you kidding me? There is noooo way koivu would be traded for selanne or dumped to make room. Koivu is the heart and soul of the team, he has stuck with the Canadiens when he could of went elsewhere, as well, the canadiens have stood by him. While it is not impossible for him to leave, it's very unlikely. Have you watched him in the playoffs the last two years? Saku is all class, he's a gritty playmaker, and the canadiens would be foolish to let him go.

Awesome addition for the Habs. At this point, the only big signings left are Ryder, Theo (and Markov to a lesser degree) which will put them barely over the 30 mill mark. That leaves lots of room for signing Selanne who would be quite the addition to the team. Perfect fit for the second line and he would be quite the addition to the Canadiens penalty kill (he isn't the same undisciplined scorer he was with the Jets). Flex that Finnish influence Koivu and the Habs could find themselves a top 4 team in the east.
